Dr. Gilliam attended college at Brigham Young University for his undergraduate studies, and Case School of Dental Medicine for his doctorate in dental medicine. After graduating from dental school in 2006, Dr. Gilliam entered active duty military service in the U.S. Army. He attended a 1 year advanced general dentistry training course and served as a general dentist for 7 years prior to specializing in endodontics. In 2015 Dr. Gilliam graduated from the U.S. Army’s Endodontic Training Residency Program. There, he received extensive clinical, research and didactic training at Fort Gordon and Georgia Regents University in Augusta, Georgia.
After more than 12 years of military service, Dr. Gilliam left the Army to pursue private practice. He moved to Spokane and started Blue Lake Endodontics where he could pursue his passion for endodontics and be close to family in Washington and Idaho.
Dr. Gilliam grew up all over the United States. His father, an Army Chaplain, retired in Western Washington and Dr. Gilliam has called Washington State home ever since.
Dr. Gilliam enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Madi, and four children. He is active in his church and enjoys serving others, being outdoors and playing sports.
